Vlad delivered an intimate and genuinely authentic experience exploring a remote hamlet where we were drawn into the rhythm of daily village life. Through his trusted relationships with locals, we heard people's stories of joy and pride in farming the land—some in homes still without electricity, others just getting connected. The experience felt naturally unfolding: encountering farmers at their homesteads, shepherds with their flocks, even watching a villager on a mission to find their wandering horse and guide it back to the sheep. We were welcomed to capture these unguarded moments naturally. This is one we won't soon forget.

We had a wonderful tour to the 'Merry Cemetery', a visit with a Roma family and Sighisoara! Florin is an excellent guide - knowledgeable on all aspects of Romanian history and culture. We learned so much ! We were able to watch the process of working with copper at the Roma family residence to make pots, jewelry and more ! The walled city of Sighisoara was amazing. We added this tour to our Maramures tour and were so glad we did!

We returned to Romania 30 years after adopting 2 children from Botosani. We wanted them to see and learn about their country. We couldn'h have asked for a better experience and guide. Florin is extremely knowledgable regarding the history and culture of the region, and Romanina as a whole. The tour focused on the traditional life of the people in Maramures, the wooden churches, the gate carvings, traditional meals......and the beautiful countryside. It was an absolute authentic experience! We are so grateful to Florin for sharing this experience with us.

Our guide with Romanian Friend walked at a reasonable pace, taking short breaks when needed (it was a hot day). She also pointed out areas of interest and told us interesting historical stories as we walked. We felt that we understood the history and culture of Romania much better as a result. In addition, she gave us advice on other places for tourists to visit in the Fagaras Mountains area. We might never have known about La Valtori, the traditional wool-processing business in Lisa, Romania. We visited that amazing business before we left.
